This afternoon around 12:20 Mattydale Truck-3 was requested to the Liverpool Fire District for a reported residential fire along with other mutual aid companies. Mattydale Truck-3 responded with a crew of 6. While responding Liverpool Car-4 arrived to find a 2 story town home with smoke showing. After arrival of the first due engine the alarm was upgraded to a signal 99 after finding fire and hole in the floor on the second floor. Truck-3 arrived handling the first due truck assignment, truck-3’s crew split to handle searches of the basement, 1st and 2nd floor along with putting our aerial ladder in operation to the building. All searches were negative. Truck-3 then assisted with ventilation, salvage and overhaul.
Mattydale Truck-3 operated on scene for almost 2 hours before returning to service.
