Our Fleet of Apparatus

 

2021 Pierce Enforcer – 107' Ascendant Aerial (Truck 3)

Truck 3 is a 107-foot rear-mount, tandem-axle aerial apparatus. It serves as our primary response unit for all structure fires and is frequently requested by surrounding districts on initial box alarms.

This versatile apparatus can operate as either an engine or a truck company, depending on the needs of the incident.

Truck 3 is equipped with:

  • A large complement of ground ladders
  • A thermal imaging camera
  • Ventilation equipment, including multiple types of power saws
  • Scene lighting equipment
  • Four preconnected handlines
  • Over 1,000 feet of 4" supply hose

The 107-foot aerial ladder is also pre-piped for elevated master stream operations, making Truck 3 a critical asset at fire scenes.

 

 

2017 KME Heavy Rescue/Pumper (Squad 4)

Squad 4 is our primary response unit for motor vehicle crashes and is equipped to handle a wide range of rescue situations, from vehicle extrications to industrial accidents.

This apparatus carries an extensive assortment of rescue tools and medical equipment, allowing crews to operate effectively in complex emergencies.

Extrication and rescue equipment includes:

  • Amkus hydraulic rescue tools
  • Onboard air supply system for airbags and air tools

Fire suppression capabilities:

  • 750-gallon water tank
  • 2,000 GPM pump

Stabilization equipment:

  • Large supply of cribbing
  • Step chocks
  • Rut Struts for advanced vehicle stabilization

Lighting and power:

  • Onboard generator
  • Multiple quartz scene lights
  • Two cord reels to power additional electrical equipment

Squad 4 also responds to neighboring departments as a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) during structure fires, providing firefighter rescue support when needed.

 

 

2010 KME Engine (Engine 2)

Engine 2 is a 2010 KME pumper equipped for both fire suppression and initial rescue operations.

Specifications:

  • 750-gallon water tank
  • 80-gallon Class A/B foam tank
  • 1,500 GPM pump

Engine 2 is second due on structure fires and motor vehicle crash (MVC) calls. In addition to standard engine company equipment, it carries an AMKUS hydraulic combitool, which functions as both a spreader and cutter for basic extrication needs.

 

 

2024 Chevrolet Suburban (Rescue 5)

Rescue 5 is our primary medical response unit, handling all emergency medical calls received on a daily basis.

This unit is certified at the New York State Intermediate Life Support (ILS) level, providing a higher level of pre-hospital care than many standard fire service rescue units.

 

 

2020 Ford F-250 Light Rescue (Squad 6)

Squad 6 serves as our secondary light rescue unit and is equipped to respond to a wide variety of emergency calls on a daily basis.

This unit is certified at the New York State Intermediate Life Support (ILS) level, allowing it to provide an elevated level of pre-hospital care.

Equipment includes:

  • Basic firefighting equipment
  • Assorted hand tools
  • Portable generator
  • Emergency scene lighting

 

1987 Hahn Engine (Retired Engine 2 / Acting Engine 1)

The 1987 Hahn Engine is an open-cab apparatus that is now largely retired from active service. Currently designated as Acting Engine 1, it is primarily used for training purposes and is often displayed at firehouse-related events.

Specifications:

  • 750-gallon water tank
  • 1,000 GPM pump
