| Mattydale Junior firefighters support our local library.
Our junior firefighters took the afternoon to support the Salina free library with their upcoming book sale. We encourage our youth to participate in community service projects like this whenever they are available. By helping the librarians move boxes of books and prepare for the book sale. They took an immense amount of work away from these outstanding public servants.
The program is always looking for new members. Reach out to the fire station or stop up any Saturday morning at 10 AM to meet the advisors if you are interested. The program accept students from age 13 to 18. |
