The Mattydale Fire Department would like to recognize our Top Responders for March for their outstanding commitment and service to our community. Your dedication, reliability, and willingness to answer every call make a direct impact on the safety of those we serve.
On April 1, 2026 Mattydale Fire responded to a natural gas leak just before 6:30 pm. Mattydale Car 1, Car 2, Truck 3, and Fire Police were on scene quickly. National grid was already on scene as well as the person who made the request for the fire department.

At 0004 hours Sunday morning, the Mattydale Fire Department was dispatched with mutual aid to 305 East Molloy Rd on a report of a residential fire with multiple callers reporting a home fully involved.

Every year, the Mattydale Fire Department with Past Chief David Fitch teams up with Roxboro Road Elementary School for a fun and creative kids' coloring contest.
This year's winners each received a $25 gift certificate to the Hollywood Theatre, and the ultimate prize: a ride to school on Mattydale Truck-3!
